The staff is friendly and the historic decorations in the rooms gives it a unique museum appeal. The sink was hard to work and a heavier blanket would have been nice. The extra quilt provided was very thin. The continental breakfast was a surprise but only drinks and muffins. I loved the clawfoot tub!

What an amazing hotel. Cozy rooms just like grandma's. Dave and Amy were so accommodating. There was 18 of us for an antique car tour, we laughed and had just the best time on the front porch. The decor is quaint and inviting. The beds comfy, the bathrooms spotless. Will definitely be back.

Overall, the hotel made our trip to Eastern WA even more enjoyable.

Loved it. Old fashioned charm with very friendly owners. Shared baths for most rooms but I never had a problem getting into it. Sort of like a local inn from an old movie. Continental breakfast included. Local bar and restaurants around the corner, but limited selections.

Thanks Dave and Amy

Super air conditioning, amazing history, great continental breakfast, very cool old building and the best front porch in all the land.

What was great about the Waterville Historic Hotel is it served as an effective base to see all these places. The drive to Waterville was quite fun, rising from Orondo, WA up a gorge onto the top of a plateau roughly 2600 ft up. The plateau extends for miles, and you can see the rolling grass from the edge of the small town.

The town was small, and refreshingly had much less traffic than we're used to seeing in Western WA. While it wasn't large, we didn't have trouble finding things we needed in the local store.

The hotel itself was charming, and reminded us of some of the older buildings from the East Coast. The owner, Dave, was very nice and we enjoyed several conversations with him.

We were also able to cook with the outdoor grill provided by the hotel, and our camp stove, which we were also allowed to use.

We recently made a trip to Eastern WA, and we had a number of different places we wanted to see: Dry Falls, Lenore Lake Caves, Grand Coulee Dam, Lake Chelan, Leavenworth, and Lincoln State Park.
